One day, whenever I get married, I want my husband and I to get tattoos on our left fingers just like these. I feel like then the ink driven deep between the crevasses of our skin would be as permanent as our love for one another; and even if we tried to get them removed somewhere down the line, we’d still have a scar as a reminder as our sacrifice. I think it would be rather beautiful. For love and death walk hand in hand.
